Compare features, device options and full billing terms →How we test TruLexa for Canadian legal work
Internal evaluations use documents created for testing and simulated legal scenarios. Customer account and matter data, including prompts, conversations, uploaded documents and generated results, is not used as internal test material.
The 11,000+ figure counts internal tests, demonstrations and requests described in customer feedback. We compare statements with cited material and review the legal analysis in our internal test scenarios. Customer feedback also guides improvements to research, drafting and document review.
Our legal research and review method →What our legal and document reviews examine
- Factual support and completeness
- We compare statements with the test records and check for unsupported assertions, missing material facts, omitted qualifications and adverse facts left out of the draft. Word-for-word work is also compared for exact wording, tables, page references and sequence.
- Figures, dates and conflicting accounts
- We check amounts, dates, percentages and ages, and compare accounts across documents to identify contradictions rather than silently resolving them.
- Attribution and basis of knowledge
- We distinguish personal knowledge from information and belief, third-party statements and inference, preserving the stated basis and limits of each assertion.
- Legal analysis and applicable requirements
- We examine the governing law, jurisdiction, supporting and contrary authorities, and application of law to the facts. Document reviews also address the relevant court, jurisdiction and form requirements.
- Structure and instructions
- We check required sections, sequencing, cutoff dates and directions such as presenting material facts first. Where required, we also check first-person wording, numbered paragraphs and document-specific structure.
- Drafting and finished-document quality
- We look for argument presented as evidence, unsupported conclusions, vague wording and unnecessary duplication. Review of the finished Word/PDF also covers grammar, names, defined terms, consistency and exhibit references.
Try TruLexa on an assignment you know well, using records you are authorized to share. Look at the sources, the details preserved, the Word/PDF document and the time needed to finish the work. Compare how well the result meets your assignment and fits your practice.
What stays on your device, and what is transmitted?
Your workspace history stays in your browser. When you make a request, TruLexa processes the selected material needed to complete that task and returns the result to your device.
01
On your device
Conversation history and matter-document workspace data are stored in your browser. Your firm controls device access, browser profiles, exports and deletion. Clearing browser data can remove local work.
02
For the requested task
The request, selected documents and necessary context are transmitted for processing. Source searches and connected services receive information needed for the features you use.
03
After processing
TruLexa keeps no server-side conversation archive. Temporary workflow copies are deleted when processing ends, subject to the service configuration and legal requirements described in our privacy policy.
04
Account and billing records
Authentication, subscription, billing and security records are separate from local matter history. Deleting a browser conversation does not delete those records or revoke permissions at a connected service.
